Research Interests

My clinical research explores interpersonal aggression and transdiagnostic factors as they relate to anxiety, depressive, and trauma-based disorders. This work addresses these domains with emphasis on the role of within-person cognitive and affective processes and how they interact with differences in interpersonal contexts. This work spans from foundational research aimed at improving the current understanding of how these domains influence the development and maintenance of anxiety, depressive and trauma-related psychopathology, to translational research that aims to both assess the effectiveness and efficiency of clinical interventions and to develop adaptations of current clinical approaches to better target mechanisms of therapeutic change.
