Liz Conradt and Sheila Crowell receive Interdisciplinary Research Pilot Program award
Liz Conradt and Sheila Crowell, along with Daniel Adkins, have received an Interdisciplinary Research Pilot Program award from the College of Social and Behavioral Science.
Their project is entitled, "A social epigenomics approach to investigating health disparities among infants raised in low socio-economic status environments.”
Their project will characterize the effects of key disparity-related social influences (SES, ethnic discrimination, neighborhood violence, nutrition, and pollution exposure) on longitudinal measures of infant DNA methylation and gestational and newborn health.
