Diversity Graduate School Application Advisory
Lace Padilla founded the Diversity Graduate School Application Advisory through ASUU to offer personal assistance to underrepresented students (female, minority, LGBTQ, and non-traditional students). This group, founded on the students’ own initiative, has worked to mentor underrepresented students on their applications to graduate and professional school and has even secured no-cost test preparation materials to remove barriers to application for these students. They served 25 students this year.
