Ashley MacPherson

Ashley MacPherson is an Academic Advisor in the Psychology Department.

Ashley was born and raised here in Salt Lake City and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the U in May 2016. During her senior year she was a peer advisor in the Psychology Advising Center and enjoyed advising so much that eventually she turned that experience into a career.

Outside of the office you can find her with her family swimming, hiking in the canyons, or cooking for a family get together. Her daughter, Lily, is seven and keeps them on their toes! Ashley has a passion for education and she considers herself a life-long learner. She really enjoys helping students personalize their experience so as to make it gratifying, efficient, and enlightening.

 


April Sanders-Aboulila

April Sanders-Aboulila

April Sanders-Aboulila graduated from the University of Utah in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies emphasizing in the Middle East with a minor in Arabic. After graduation, she continued her education at Kansas State University and graduated in 2015 with a Master of Science in Academic Advising.

April comes to our department with over a year in financial aid at the University of Utah and with experience teaching at the University level as well. Her advising philosophy is geared towards social justice and diversity.

Outside of the office, she spends time hiking, baking and cooking, and traveling.
