Research Interests

My research focuses on understanding the relationship between child maltreatment and subsequent maladaptation such as juvenile delinquency. A main focus is on elucidating the risk and protective mechanisms related to this developmental pathway. Additionally, I have an intrinsic interest in investigating how culture and its' various constructs contribute to the development or absence of psychopathology.
