Current Research Studies

  1. Usability of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems

This is an online study in which we are assessing the general population’s knowledge of automated features that currently exist in consumer-available vehicles. We are especially interested in hearing from owners of vehicles 2015 and newer that may have added technology. However, anyone can participate in this study no matter what car you drive!

Click this link to take the survey.

  1. Using Driver Assist Features for Driving Long Distances

Our lab is assessing use of driver assistance technology while driving for long periods of time. We are recruiting participants that have a valid driver license to drive in our driving simulator for up to 4 hours while we monitor your heart rate and eye movements.

Participants will be compensated $12/hour for their time.

To enroll: Please email HFlabUTAH@gmail.com and mention that you are interested in this study.
